before

avoid large or heavy meals before using the sauna, but to try and eat something, as your stomach digesting your food may prevent you from fully relaxing. avoid shaving or waxing directly beforehand, as it may be irritating and prevent you from relaxing during your sauna session. you are not permitted to sauna whilst under the influence of drugs or alcohol. avoid alcohol, caffeine, nicotine or any other stimulants in the lead up to your sauna session. these may interfere with your ability to relax.

upon arrival

remove jewellery and leave valuables outside the cabin. you may use the sauna nude or with swimwear. you may access the sauna audio system via bluetooth. please connect to the correct sauna on bluetooth and keep the volume relatively low to be considerate of others. leave your device outside the cabin or in the cabin cupboard. flick the switch for the speakers in the ceiling to choose between audio playing through speakers or from underneath the bench through the vibrational resonance therapy. you can use the remote or the metal switch on the side of the overhead chromotherapy light to adjust the colour or let the light cycle between the different colours.

during

body core heat is key to effective infrared therapy so sit with your back against the back wall heaters for best perspiration. the time on the right hand side will count down to 0; in the first 10-20 minutes, you may not sweat outwardly; it may take several sessions for your system to begin to perspire. when the temperature is at the set level of 70°c the front heaters will turn off and on periodically, maintaining the desired temperature. if the air temp feels too hot inside, you may open the door slightly to let in some fresh air or step outside. rehydrate with one or two totum sachets during your session. we provide 1.5L of filtered water in larq UV self cleaning water bottles.

after

switch on the room light after your session to open the extract fan. have a cold shower. it may take a few minutes for you to stop sweating even after a cold shower. rehydrate with one or two totum sachets after your session

warning

do not directly touch the heaters with any part of your body. exit immediately if you feel uncomfortable, dizzy or sleepy. keep towels, water bottles all other combustible materials away from front heaters at all times. covering the heaters is a fire risk.
